Goodspace is above The Lord Gladstone Hotel, 115 Regent St, Chippendale NSW.
Unfortunately, there is no lift and the space is not wheelchair accessible.
The number one thing to know if you haven't been here before - access to the gallery is from the staircase behind the bar... like you literally have to walk past the bartender to get to the stairs. Gets everyone!
Guests are announced Tuesday, the week before their session. Tickets sell incredibly quickly and we often sell out on presale before we've announced the guest. Past guests include Wendy Sharpe, Abdul Abdullah, Blak Douglas and heaps more.
This session caters to all levels of experience. The atmosphere of GDC is much more like a drawing club than a formal class. This is a great place to come and paint, share and have fun!
The Lord Gladstone is now open 'til midnight on Tuesdays due to the extra bodies in the bar from Drawing Club. Their fantastic kitchen is open 'til 10pm. Happy Hour is 4-6pm. There is a drinks service in the middle of each session so you can keep furiously drawing and not miss out on an ice cold Doom Juice xD
Making Gladdy Drawing Club a safe place for our female, queer and non-binary artists is our number one priority. Coming to GDC for the first time you should feel assured that this safe and inclusive environment will be promoted and protected by Total Bore and The Lord Gladstone at all times. If you experience anything at all that makes you feel uncomfortable at GDC, or in the broader life drawing community. Please let us know, and we will do everything we can to help.
Masks provided but not mandatory. Hand Sanitizer provided. If you are feeling unwell before your session, please don't hesitate to contact us and we'll help you sell your ticket on our socials.
